Cardboard Construction Junction

Are you a fan of construction vehicles and machines? Get ready for an art-and-play camp all about building. Campers will design and build their own vehicles out of cardboard, dig and explore in sand and dirt, and enjoy a variety of hands-on sensory experiences with building materials. Together, we’ll create characters and stories inspired by the machines we invent.

Mythical Makers: A Realm of Color and Imagination

Step into a magical realm where colors sparkle and anything you imagine can come to life! In this play-based art camp, young makers will explore process-focused projects inspired by mythical worlds, curious creatures and magical landscapes. Through sculpture, spin art, mini dioramas, puppetry and printmaking, campers will experiment freely with color, texture and storytelling. Together, we’ll discover how creative worlds are built and how imagination becomes art. Participants should wear recess attire, bring a nut-free lunch, snack and refillable water bottle each day. Refrigerators and microwaves are not available.

Play Fort Fellows Camp

Where creativity and adventure come alive—one cozy hideaway at a time! In this lively, hands-on camp, young creators dream up and construct forts of every kind, from snug blanket nooks to imaginative outdoor structures. Campers will dive into stories featuring fantastical hideouts, then sketch and explore their own ideas through vibrant mixed-media process art. Using string, fabric, cardboard and repurposed treasures, their visions rise into real, buildable spaces. To top it all off, campers invent characters and weave stories for their creations through creative play, art-making and dramatic adventures. Participants should wear recess attire, bring a nut-free lunch, snack and refillable water bottle each day. Refrigerators and microwaves are not available.

Creature Creations!

Step into a creature wonderland of imagination where curious beings come to life in a hands-on, art-filled adventure! Campers will invent their own quirky characters and dive into messy, colorful projects painting enormous (and tiny!) portraits, running a silly “café,” and building a giant city across the classroom. Together, we’ll roar, giggle and explore fuzzy, feathery and slimy friends through playful, child-led artmaking. Participants should wear recess attire, bring a nut-free lunch, snack and refillable water bottle each day. Refrigerators and microwaves are not available.

Stuffy Stories

Ever wonder what adventures your favorite stuffed animal goes on when you’re not around? In this playful camp, young artists will bring their beloved stuffies to life through storytelling and performance! Each camper will imagine and craft a unique story for their stuffed friend, then join forces with others to weave their tales together into one shared world. Along the way, campers will create handmade backdrops, props, and costumes—turning imagination into a full-fledged, magical adventure!

Monsters Making Messes

What happens when monsters take over summer camp? Come find out in this playful, art-filled adventure! Campers will dream up their own monster characters and dive into messy, colorful projects—creating enormous (and super tiny!) monster portraits, running a deliciously gross “monster café,” and building a giant monster city across the classroom. Together, we’ll roar, giggle, and create as we explore furry, slimy, and feathery monsters through play-based, child-led artmaking.

CLAY CITY

If you could build your very own city with others in your community, what would it look like? Using air dry clay, we'll imagine and build our dream community together. Learn some basic clay techniques and paint your creations before adding to the collection.

Design-A-Game

Gear up to explore new ideas and build a one-of-a-kind game from the ground up. In this hands-on camp, you’ll use cardboard, found objects, and all kinds of art materials to invent a totally original game of your own. Create a board game with epic twists, design a fast-paced card game, build a role-playing adventure, or even storyboard the next hit video game—it’s all up to your imagination. Bring your creativity, your curiosity, and maybe a little friendly competition!

Build a Fort Camp!

Let your imagination take shape! In this playful, hands-on camp, young creators dream up and build forts of all kinds—from cozy blanket hideaways to elaborate outdoor structures. Campers will collaborate to sketch their ideas (underground tunnels, maze forts, tree forts, and more) before bringing them to life using a variety of materials. Together, we’ll explore fort-building in nature, experiment with string and fabric, and even repurpose found objects. Once the forts are complete, campers will invent stories and characters to bring their creations to life—transforming each nook and cranny into a world of adventure.

World Building: Mythical Castles

Let’s explore the magical and mythical stories of castles and those that lived there. Young artists will use upcycled and art materials to build dragons, knights, queens, kings, princes and princesses—you name it! Together, we’ll create magnificent landscapes and stories of the characters that live there. Weather-appropriate footwear and clothing should be worn for outdoor periods. Participants need to bring a nut-free snack and refillable water bottle each day.

World Building: Ocean Odyssey

Dive into the mysterious world beneath the waves! In this underwater adventure of art and storytelling, young artists will use upcycled and traditional art materials to create stunning sea landscapes and the fascinating creatures that call them home. Campers will imagine and build an immersive ocean world as well as develop their own sea characters who inhabit the world. Working together, we’ll craft imaginative stories to intertwine our characters and explore the wonders of our planet’s largest ecosystem, bringing the magic of the ocean to life, one creation at a time.

World Building: Planet Imaginarium

Is your child captivated by the mysteries of the night sky? Do they daydream about life on distant planets? Then blast off with us for a week of creativity and cosmic fun! In this art-filled camp, campers will use upcycled materials and traditional art supplies to imagine and build their own outer space worlds. Together, we’ll dream up colorful alien landscapes, invent fascinating intergalactic characters, and tell the stories of the worlds they call home. Weather-appropriate footwear and clothing should be worn for outdoor periods. Participants need to bring a nut-free lunch, snack and refillable water bottle each day. Refrigerators and microwaves are not available.
