All Season Forts
Whether it’s indoors or outdoors, summer or winter- let’s build a fort!
Using natural dens and animal dwellings as inspiration, participants let their imagination take the wheel as they build creative forts. Building materials vary depending on space and time of year.

Designed with children 10 and under with adult caregivers in mind, this event is an engaging experience for intergenerational groups of all ages, including early childhood, middle and high schoolers.

Engagement time ranges from 5 minutes to multiple hours
Average for individual participants- 45 minutes
Average for classrooms or groups 60-90 minutes
Accommodates up to 28 people at a time, up to 540 people in a day.

All Season Forts participants will:
Engage and work with others in a shared activity
Practice fine motor skills through building
Brainstorm, reflect, and plan for their additions to the fort
Use STEM and problem solving skills to create their fort
Persist when unable to accomplish expected results
Use storytelling to explore the spaces they build
Identify & describe tools and tactics used their making process

An open programing space like a classroom
Hand-washing access
2 Banquet Tables
10-20 chairs
Trash can and recycling
Set-up includes signage, 7 worktables, materials, and arranging provided tables and chairs
For outdoor events, set up includes a 10'x20' tent
