Let’s turn recycled paper into new fiber arts!
Dive into the world of papermaking through a hands-on process using repurposed materials! Participants will customize paper pulp with seeds, petals, and colors, leaving with a one-of-a-kind sheet of handmade paper to use, share, or plant in the ground

Designed with children 10 and under with adult caregivers in mind.
This event is an engaging experience for intergenerational groups of all ages, including early childhood, middle and high schoolers. -
Engagement time ranges from 5 minutes to multiple hours
Average for individual participants- 45 minutes
Average for classrooms or groups 60-90 minutes
Accommodates up to 20 people at a time, up to 540 people in a day.

Paper Pulp participants will:
Reflect on environmental topics like recycling and reuse
Explore open-ended art-making
Engage and work with others in a shared activity
Practice fine motor skills through tool & materials use.
Persist when unable to accomplish expected results
Sequence their paper-making process by following steps.
Identify & describe tools and tactics used their making process

Can be indoor or outdoor. Note: this project is messy and uses water and paper pulp.
An open programing space with 30' x 20' footprint for setup
Hand-washing access
2 Banquet Tables & 10-20 chairs
Trash can and recycling
Set-up includes signage, 7 worktables, all materials, and arranging tables and chairs
For outdoor events, set up includes a 10'x20' tent
For indoors, tarps will be provided for floors as well as table covers and towels.
